Now is the time of year when summer reading lists begin to appear. Publishers Weekly posted their hot picks for summer reads in April. Now it is time for the BHS reading community to post their own hot picks. . .we know what Harry Potter fans will be reading on July 13th of this summer, but what about you? However, as a huge Harry Potter fan, I must say I don't really plan on reading too much of anything on July 13th since that is when the movie is coming out. However, July 21st is another story.
As for my summer reading list, the first few books are mostly rereads. The Harry Potter books, of course, as well as the Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun quartet. I highly recommend both. I must warn that Wolfe's novels (and short stories) are much heavier than Harry Potter with all sorts of metaphysical whatnot in them.
