This novel is simply amazing!! Give Austen's descriptive language a chance. Her writing is different from that of most modern novels (this one was written in the early 1800s), but the characters are SO engaging! If you're a bit hesitant with these 'old novels', try the new film version first to get acquainted with the time, culture and people---it's well worth the effort!
AMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAZING. <3 <3 <3 <3 I totally recommend watching one of the movies (preferably the BBC version if you have the time) before you read it...it makes reading it significantly easier AND (most importantly) more enjoyable. :-D
