BHS is a YALSA Library this year! The students of the Book Club are reading Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs) of books before they are available for sale! Then OUR students will review these books and help select the top 10 Young Adult Books of the year! We are one of 15 clubs in the country and the ONLY high school in Illinois reviewing for YALSA!

The Poetry Cafe was Sensational!
Thank you to all the faculty and staff who helped make the Poetry Cafe the success that it was! Over 500 hundred students attended this incredibly popular event!
